A teenage Hausa- Fulani herdsman Abubakar Mohammed was on Monday found daed around Saint Mary Hospital, Umudei Quarters in Ogwashi Uku Community near Asaba, Delta State.
The Father of the deceased, Alhaji Mudi Abubakar who confirmed the incident to Journalists in Asab on Tuesday, said that the body of his son was found around Saint Mary Hospital Umudei Quarters in Ogwashi Uku Community already dead.
He added that his son’s body was inflicted with wounds sustained from matchete cuts on his head,leg and hand.
While saying that no arrrest has been made, Alhaji Mudi Abubakar said that the matter had been reported to the police at Ogwashi Uku Police Division.
Meanwhile, Police Commissioner in the State, Hafiz Muhammed Inuwah who confirmed the incident said that investigation was ongoing with a view to bringing those responsible for the alleged killing to book.
