As the National Executive Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC), meet today, the North Central Media Support Group for Buhari has urged governors of the zone to support President Muhammadu Buhari in his effort to reposition the party.
A statement signed by the group’s national coordinator Ahmed Tukur said that Buhari’s decision to reposition the party is a step in the right decision.
Tukur said that governors of the zone and other stakeholders should give the president the necessary support to ensure that he succeeds.
He maintained that the support from N/central zone is a support from the country because the zone constitutes a mini Nigeria.
“We are confident that the north central will give the president every support that is why we are urging our governors to go to NEC meeting with one voice to ensure that the decision of Mr. President is supreme as the leader of the party”.
The statement added that Buhari as the leader of the party deserves every commendation for his effort to place the country among committee of nations that respect rule of law and the constitution.
