An Estate Surveyor and Valuer, ESV. Florence Onajite Adesewo ANIVS, RSV, said the role of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in properties management has an evolving dynamic approach of given depth information.

ESV. Adesewo explained that there is a rapid change in real estate evolving landscape and technology, and this has also played a pivotal role in revolutionising property management practices.

She disclosed that technology is a useful tool for property management in order to ensure that client’s property investment is kept in a state to enhance its functionality, prolong its lifespan, yield an optimum return and achieve the investor’s general objectives.
She reiterated that use of ict streamlines operations to enhancing tenant experiences.

“Technological advancements have reshaped the way properties are managed and maintained”.

She said Property management is managing and maintaining real estate properties, including residential, commercial, and industrial properties.

She mentioned that the goal of property management is to maximise the value and income of the property while minimising expenses and risks.

“This has significant impact of technology on modern property management, highlighting the benefits it brings to property owners, tenants, and management agencies”.

Residential Property Management: Managing residential properties, such as apartments, houses, and residential estates.
Commercial Property Management: Managing commercial properties, such as office buildings, cinemas, commercial complexes/estates, retail spaces, and warehouses.
Industrial Property Management: Managing industrial properties, such as factories, manufacturing facilities, and logistics centers.
