From Ahmad Muhammadu, Bauchi
Wife of President Bola Ahmed Tinibu, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, in collaboration with the Wife of Bauchi State, Hajiya (Dr) Aishatu Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, had a National Prayer Session for Peace, and distributed food items to vulnerable citizens.
The event, themed “The National Prayer Session for Peace, Unity, and Progress,” served as a solemn call for national reflection and collective spiritual renewal in the face of prevailing socio-economic and security challenges.
The prayer sessions brought together religious leaders, government officials, women groups, youth representatives, and community stakeholders to seek divine intervention for peace and progress in Bauchi State and Nigeria as a whole.
Speaking during the event, Hajiya Aishatu Bala Mohammed, who also served as the North East Zonal Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI), described the prayer session as a demonstration of shared values and aspirations in these trying times.
“This prayer season, organized in collaboration with my office and that of the wife of the President, is a testament to our collective commitment to fostering peace, unity, and harmony among the people of Bauchi State and our beloved nation,” she said.
She said that the Renewed Hope Initiative is not just about spiritual reflection, but also practical interventions aimed at improving the lives of ordinary Nigerians.
