Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani has assured Nigerians that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is committed to eradicating poverty in Nigeria.
He urged agencies responsible for reaching out to the poor on behalf of the Federal Government to be active and sincere.
He made the declaration at a town hall meeting on the Presidential Grants and Loans Scheme for MSMEs, organized by the Federal Government in collaboration with the Bank of Industry (BOI).
Represented by Special Adviser on Economic Matters Ibrahim Tanko Mohammed, the Governor said the massive presidential initiatives are evidence that Mr. President was a listening leader who cared for Small and Medium scale businesses and was willing to see them excel.
The event was in respect of the 200 billion Naira Presidential Intervention Fund and was attended by citizens from across the State.
According to him, “This event is aimed at sensitizing and mobilizing targeted beneficiaries of the 200 billion Naira Presidential Intervention Fund to elicit their maximum participation. The Intervention Fund comprises the Presidential Conditional Grant Scheme and a loan scheme for MSMEs and Manufacturing enterprises in Nigeria,” the Governor added.
“This Massive Presidential Initiative is the clearest evidence that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR is a listening leader. He has heard the cries of Nigerians running small businesses and manufacturing Enterprises and has taken urgent steps to address their challenges.
These stimulus packages will not only reinvigorate small businesses and manufacturing Enterprises,;, but impact positively on succubi-national economies the Nigerian economy in general.”
