President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is currently in a closed-door meeting with the class of governors elected with him in 1999.
The ex-governors were seen arriving for the meeting at the Presidential Villa, Abuja at 4pm.
The meeting is holding inside the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa.
Those in attendance are former state governors of Akwa Ibom, Obong Victor Attah; Delta, James Ibori; Abia, Orji Uzor Kalu; Edo, Lucky Igbinedion; Taraba, Jolly Nyame; Sokoto, Attahiru Bafarawa; Plateau, Joshua Dariye; Osun, Bisi Akande; kaduna, Ahmed Markafi among others.
The ex-governors may have come to show solidarity with Tinubu who assumed duties as the 16th President of Nigeria on May 29.
