From: Femi Oyelola in Kaduna

Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has stated that it is doubtful for any governor in Nigeria to challenge President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027.

According to Sani, no president in Nigeria’s history has given as much support to state governors and local government administrations as President Tinubu.

Sani made this remark during the opening ceremony of a two-day conference organized by the Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation to strengthen engagement between government and citizens in Kaduna yesterday.

He commended Tinubu’s administration for engaging stakeholders outside of government in discussions about the development of the North and the country.

Gov. Sani highlighted President Tinubu’s unparalleled support for governors and sub-national governments, making it difficult for any governor to oppose his re-election.

The governor praised Tinubu’s administration for engaging non-state actors in the North, marking a shift in how national issues are addressed.

Similarly,  Governor Yahaya Inuwa of Gombe commended President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, citing visible progress across the northern region and the completion of projects started by the previous administration

The conference aims to evaluate progress on Tinubu’s promises, deepen government-citizen engagement, and promote a clearer understanding of the administration’s policies and programs.
