A development advocate, Barrister Kashim Musa Tumsah, has hailed Professor Halima Idrisa Gambo of the University of Maiduguri for making history by becoming Nigeria’s first female Professor of Veterinary Pathology.
In a congratulatory message made available to the syndicate on Friday in Damaturu, Tumsah described the feat as a landmark achievement for her, the University of Maiduguri, Yobe State, where she hails from, and Nigeria as a whole.
He added that her success has broken gender prejudices and would inspire more females to excel in their chosen careers.
“On behalf of myself and the good people of Yobe State, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to Professor Halima Idrisa Gambo on her historic and well-deserved promotion,” he said.
