United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc has entered into partnership deal with Parolz.com, an online platform which offers exclusive discounts and benefits from top outlets in Nigeria.

The partnership was a deliberate strategy to improve customers’ satisfaction, encourage card usage and to drive the Central Bank of Nigeria’s cashless initiative.

It was aimed at rewarding loyalty whilst encouraging card usage. The offers range from Dinning to Lifestyle, Hospitality, Transportation and Gift Items.

Only recently, Parolz.com extended its offerings to include Jumia and Metro Taxi. This implies that UBA Cardholders get exclusive discounts from Jumia, Metro Taxi and the over 200 Merchants listed on Parolz.com.

This development comes on the heels of UBA’s nomination as the financial institution with the most benefits to Cardholders under the Card Benefit Category in the Card and ePayment Africa Awards.

The UBA’s Card loyalty strategy cuts across the various card schemes under the Bank’s e-banking portfolio. There are ongoing deals for MasterCard, Verve and VISA Cardholders.

Speaking on the scheme, the UBA’s Divisional Head, e-Banking, Dr. Yinka Adedeji said, “No other Financial Institution comes close to providing the many benefits we provide our Cardholders.’’

“We have brought together, some of the biggest Retail Outlets and offered discounts at these outlets to our Cardholders. We understand the importance of Customer loyalty to our business and will continue to launch initiatives to make our Customers know that they are special to us,” he said.
