Governor Uba Sani has praised Kaduna State pilgrims for their outstanding conduct during the 2026 Hajj in the Holy Land.

A statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Malam Ibraheem Musa, in Makkah on Thursday, stated that the Governor made this commendation when a high-level delegation briefed him on the entire Hajj operation.

The statement quoted the Governor as also saying that Kaduna State pilgrims’ officials have become a benchmark for excellent Hajj service delivery.

Governor Uba Sani reminded the pilgrims that Hajj is a pillar of Islam that demands patience, perseverance, and complete devotion to Allah (SWT), emphasizing that it is a spiritual journey that can be physically exhausting.

He noted that the updates from members of the Hajj Delegation and management aligned with the reports he had received even before arriving in Saudi Arabia.

Earlier, the delegation, led by the Executive Chairman of Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency, Malam Salihu S. Abubakar, had briefed the Governor on the progress of the Hajj operations so far.

Malam Salihu detailed the Agency’s activities, from the awareness campaigns for intending pilgrims during “Bita” to the thorough medical screenings at the Hajj camp and the airlift to Saudi Arabia.

He also highlighted successes in Madina, the brief stay in Makkah, the start of the Hajj rites at Arafat and Muzdalifa, the symbolic stoning of the devil at Jamrat, and returning to the tent city of Muna.
