A high-powered delegation of Islamic clerics from Kaduna recently paid a Sallah homage to Governor Uba Sani at Sir Kashim House to congratulate him on the occasion of the Eid Al-Adha celebrations.

During the visit, Dr. Tukur Adam, the Chief Imam of Al-Manar Mosque, emphasized that the visit was in line with the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW). He noted that Islam encourages Muslims to pay homage to their leaders and celebrate with them during festive periods, along with their parents, traditional rulers, and other clerics.

Dr. Adam commended Governor Uba Sani for his people-centered policies that have provided relief to the common man in Kaduna State. He expressed hope that Allah (SWT) would guide the Governor on the right path, highlighting that the Governor’s style of administration has fostered peace and development in the region.

Professor Yahya Mujahid, the Chief Imam of Maiduguri Road, also praised Allah (SWT) for allowing them to witness another Eid in peace. He remarked that Governor Uba Sani’s administration has empowered the people of Kaduna State to pursue their livelihoods without fear of harassment. “Property owners no longer fear demolition. Plot owners are not afraid that their title documents will be revoked. Workers do not fear arbitrary dismissal,” Prof. Mujahid stated. He reminded the gathering that Allah (SWT) rewards leaders who bring relief to the people, and he prayed for the Governor’s continued good deeds.

Sheikh Saleh Yakubu, the Chief Imam of Costain Quarters, recalled how their foundation, the Attaisir Development Foundation, had previously trained street children who engaged in criminal activities, but it is no longer operational. He advised the Governor to revive the foundation’s activities as a means to reduce the increase in phone snatching, burglary, and petty crimes.
