Youths in Kaduna State, particularly those from Kaduna South Local Government Area, have been encouraged to be intentional in their pursuit of success in both the formal and informal sectors of the economy.
This call to action was made by Hon. Kabiru Yakubu Jarimi, the Special Adviser to Governor Uba Sani on Local Government Affairs, during a special Sallah dinner he hosted for over 100 vibrant young men and women from the Team Jarimi group.
These individuals have played a significant role in promoting the achievements of Governor Uba Sani across Kaduna State.
Among the attendees were 21 dedicated youths selected from the 13 wards of Kaduna South, who are part of a larger group of 120,000 youths set to benefit from this empowerment initiative.
These youths have consistently highlighted the developmental efforts of Governor Uba Sani and deserve recognition for their contributions.
As part of Governor Uba Sani’s commitment to youth empowerment and self-reliance, each beneficiary received NN500,000 to either start a small business or expand an existing one.
This gesture is seen as a life-changing opportunity aimed at cultivating a generation of self-sufficient and productive citizens.
In his remarks, Hon. Jarimi expressed deep gratitude to Governor Uba Sani for believing in him, mentoring him, and providing him opportunities to grow in politics despite his initial inexperience and missteps.
He also appreciated the members of Team Jarimi for their unwavering support and emphasized the Governor’s commitment to youth inclusion, economic empowerment, and sustainable peace in Kaduna State.
