Governor Uba Sani’s Reaching Out-of-School Children project is changing education in Kaduna State, with communities strongly supporting the initiative.

The project aims to bring 100,000 out-of-school children back into school, planning to build 102 new schools and renovate 170 others.

During a site handover ceremony held across the Central Senatorial zones today, the Projects Coordinator, Ezra Angai, highlighted the importance of community involvement for the project’s success.

“The community is a critical part of this job,” he said. The project covers nine local governments, with teams working across the state’s three senatorial zones.

What the Governor has done is not only to ensure that project planning is accurate, but also to reach out to our partners: the Islamic Development Bank, the Islamic Solidarity Fund for Development, the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development, Education Above All, the Global Partnership for Education, and Save the Children International.
