UNCAC Coalition re-elects Rev. UGOLOR as Vice-Chairman

A global Civil Society anti-corruption watchdog, UNCAC Coalition, has re-elected the Executive Director, of Africa Network for Environment and Economic Justice, ANEEJ, the Rev. David Ugolor for a second term in office as its Vice Chairman.
This was contained in a statement made available to the media in Kaduna yesterday.
The statement stated that in a congratulatory message to Ugolor from Vienna today, UNCAC Coalition Operations, Finance, and Membership Lead, Betina Pasteknik thanked him for the job since coming on board of UNCAC Coalition.
“Congratulations to David Ugolor and Samantha Feinstein for winning the Vice Chair(s) election, Aya Riahi for winning the Secretary position, and Andrii Borovyk for winning the Treasurer election, all with 100% of the votes.
“We thank all the winners for the fantastic job you did last year and we look forward to another year under your guidance. We also thank all the board members for actively casting their vote,” Betina Pasteknik stated.
The UNACAC Coalition operations Lead further noted that “the only person representing Access Information henceforth will be Rachel Hanna as Helen Darbhisire is stepping out of the board.”
On his part, the Executive Director of ANEEJ, David Ugolor said his re-election into the board of UNACAC Coalition is a further tonic for him to give his all to the war against corruption, not only in Nigeria but globally.
“I give all glory to God almighty for my re-election and me, it is a call for greater service to humanity, particularly in our advocacy for the implementation of the United Nations Convention Against Corruption across the globe.
“We will work with the new government in Nigeria and I am happy that anti-corruption is one of President Ahmed Bola Tinubu’s cardinal agenda. We would work to ensure that issues of asset recovery and management are given top priority, especially now that we have the Proceeds of Crime Act (POCA) in place in Nigeria,” Ugolor said.
