The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has said it would do what it could to engage Gombe state on innovation processes.
Senior Economic Advisor United Nations Development Programme Nigeria, Dr. Amarakoon Bandara stated this on Wednesday in an interview with Journalists in Gombe during a 2 day programme to engage on acceleration/innovation in the north east.
He assured of UNDP readiness to meet with officials of Gombe state Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) on a modality to ensure that innovation which is priority to nation building is sustained.
According to him, doing so will help boost the economy of the state and the nation at large.
In the same vein, Senior Special Adviser to the governor on Sustainable Development Goals Alhaji Bashir Abdulkarim appreciated the gesture.
