Valencia are reportedly keen to offer off form Man City forward Alvaro Negredo the chance to return to the Spanish La Liga. The powerful Spanish international initially took well to life in the Premier League but then suffered an alarming drop in form that could see the 29 year old set for a season warming the Etihad Stadium bench and as such could be interested in a possible move back to Spain. The England champions paid Sevilla £20m for Negredo last July and the striker, affectionately nicknamed the ‘Beast’, bagged 23 goals in all competitions by mid-January but then went 16 games without a goal. Chilean boss Manuel Pellegrini now sees Sergio Aguero, Edin Dzeko and Stevan Jovetic ahead of Negredo in his pecking order and as such could perhaps consider a Valencia bid before the summer transfer window slams shut.
