Members of the Agbor Delta Vigilante group has arrested a notorious burglar identified as Emeke Shedrack,38 years old in Agbor town after he had allegedly burgled several stores in Agbor town and its environs.
Items recovered from the suspects by members of the vigilante group include: a bag filled with wigs of various types stolen from various shops, televisions of which he allegedly stole from shops within Agbor and its environs.
But the leader of the vigilante group, Comrade Monday kiyem and Chairman Ika Anti-Cult who confirmed the arrest of the suspect to journalists, r called for useful information for the arrest of others at large, disclosing that the suspect was arrested on Wednesday and handed over to the Police in Agbor Division for further investigation.
But at a media conference in Asaba, the state Commissioner of Police, Adeleke Adeyinka who confirmed that the police have arrested ten suspected burglars in the last two weeks in Agbor town and its environs, disclosed that the suspects would be charged to court on completion of investigation and warned that it will no longer be business as usual for criminals in the state, except they relocated elsewhere where the Police will not see them.
