The Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima, in the early hours of thursday, lost his step mother, Hajja Hauwa Abba Kormi.
This was disclosed in a statement by the media aide to the vice president, Stanley Nkwocha.
Hajja Kormi who died after a prolonged illness at the age of 69, left behind five children, many step children and grandchildren, the statement said.
It added that the Janaiza is scheduled for 4:00 pm today (Thursday) at Shettimari, Lawan Bukar, Maiduguri, Borno State.
