Minister of Interior, Comrade Abba Moro, has assured that the current war against insurgency in the country is a must win.
Moro, gave the assurance yesterday while hosting the Ambassador to the Republic of Germany, Mr. Michael Zenner, in his office at the Ministry of Interior, in Abuja.
According to him, “We will mobilise all resources to ensure success against the insurgents. We are also working to ensure security and welfare of citizens and foreigners alike”.
He assured the German envoy of the federal government’s effort to create a favourable atmosphere to protect German investments in the country.
Moro expressed appreciation to the German government for expressing support in the war against insurgency, saying the country will stamp out terrorism with the support of friendly allies.
Earlier, the German Ambassador said he was in the country to continue cementing the cordial relationship between the two countries.
He said Nigeria and Germany have come a long way, saying that the two nations will continue to partner in all areas to ensure success.
