The Jigawa state government said, it will soon announced the date for schools resumption in the state.
The state governor Alhaji Muhammad Abubakar Badaru dropped the hint yesterday during a media parley with journalists held at government house Dutse.
He explained that, the preparation on how to observe all the Covid – 19 protocol has gone far to ensure all categories of students in the state resumed for their studies.
“As all the arrangement has gone far, by God grace from next week monday to end of the week we will announce the resumption of schools in the state”,he said.
According to him, “already those that are writing exams resumed but the remaining students are also entitle to resume for their regular studies”.
He said, some of the guidelines to open the schools include use of face-mask, constant hand washing as well as observing social distances among the students.
The governor maintained that, looking at high population of students, the classes may be divided into morning and evening classes.
The governor then, sympathised with peoples in the state on the recent flood particularly the families of those that lost their lives and other victims that lost their houses and farmlands.
