Vice-Chairman, Inter-Party Advisory Council of Nigeria IPAC, Niger state chapter and Public Relations Officer of Peoples Democratic Party PDP, Alhaji Mohammed Saba, has said that the major mission of IPAC in the country was to institutionalize democracy in the Nigeria.

He made this known yesterday while fielding questions from newsmen after the State Executive meeting at the secretariat of IPAC, David Mark Road Minna, Niger State capital.

Saba said, “the establishment of IPAC will help to conduct credible free and fair election in 2015 and at the end of it all democracy will be institutionalized”.

“In Democracy, elections are being held, there must be a winner and a loser and that is why IPAC was established to checkmate the excesses of political parties in order to avoid election crises in the country and that philosophy must be realized”

Earlier, the Public Relations Officer of IPAC, Abdullazeez Salaudeen said that the essence of IPAC was to bring harmony, discipline, peace and tranquility to the people so that the will enjoy the dividend of democracy in a good atmosphere.

He charged IPAC members to talk to their party members on the need to achieve peace in the forthcoming elections so that people would feel free to cast their vote to the candidate of their choice with no fear of contradictions.

Saleudeen however, admitted the good relationship between the ruling government of Niger State with other political parties, assuring that 2015 will be characterized with free and fair.
