We’ll make your VP ambition mirage – IPOB threatens Okowa

Date:

By Musa Baba Adamu

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has threatened the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential running mate, Ifeanyi Okowa, over the alleged secret killings in Delta State.

IPOB threatened to make Okowa’s Vice presidential ambition a mirage if the killings in Delta State continue.

Spokesman of the group, Emma Powerful, charged the Delta State Governor to stop the alleged secret killings of citizens by security operatives in the state.

Powerful said contrary to reports of security agents, the Eastern Security Network (ESN) has no connection to the killings.

In a statement he signed, Powerful said Okowa can’t blame IPOB for the killings in the state after he created an enabling environment for security agents to carry out such an act.

The statement reads partly “If Ifeanyi Okowa continues to play ostrich while this barbarity and shielding of innocent people’s blood continues, IPOB will ensure that his Vice Presidential ambition becomes a mirage.”
