We’ll tackle problems of the common man, Ekiti Dep. Gov. Elect assures

Date:

The Ekiti Deputy Governor-elect, Dr Olusola Eleka, said recently that the incoming administration in the state would tackle the problems of the common people.

He said this at a news briefing in Ikere Ekiti in Ikere Local Government Area of the state.

Eleka said the administration of Governor-elect, Mr Ayo Fayose, being a government of the people, would work hard to help the people to meet their needs.

He gave the assurance that the incoming PDP administration would be open to constructive criticisms from members of the opposition.

Eleka, who was elected as running-mate to the Governor-elect, Mr Ayo Fayose, said his principal understood the nitty-gritty of Ekiti politics.

“We are going to be open to criticisms, I am very sure that the next administration will open a new chapter in the politics of this state.

“Before now, people believe that for you to be successful in politics, you have to tell lies.

“But we are not going to be part of that,’’ he said.

The deputy governor-elect, maintained that being a greenhorn in the game of politics would not affect the performance of his duties as the state’s number two man. (NAN)
