While reactions continue to trail the allegation by the Central Bank of Nigeria ousted (CBN) governor, Malam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi that the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), has failed to remit $20 billion (N3.2 trillion) into the coffers of the Federation Accounting many Nigerians may not comprehend what $20 billion could possibly buy.

To get a sense of how staggering the amount is, if one could go shopping with $20,000,000,000, the list may look like this:

1. London’s Heathrow Airport Terminal 5.

2. Boeing 787-10 Aircraft.

3. State-of-the-art Tertiary Care Hospital.

4.5-star hotel in the Federal Capital territory (FCT).
