A 25 years old police officer ‘s wife Firdausi Muhammad has escaped death after given birth to triplets in Dutse Local Government, JIgawa state.
The woman successful delivered after under going a Cesarean section at Dutse general Hospital on Saturday at about 12:30 pm.
The new mother and her triplets—a boy and two girls—are reported to be in good health, receiving care from the medical team at the Hospital.
Speaking to news men, the nursing mother said when she got pregnant, she was not aware it would result in a triplet.
According to her, “when I went to scan, the result shows that it was twins but to my surprise I delivered triple”.
She thanks Almighty God for the gift and called on Nigerians to come to their aid to adequately take cares of the babies.
“I am appealing to the Jigawa State Governor, Umar Namadi and other individuals to support us to properly take good care of them,” Firdausi stated.
