Governor of Kaduna state, Dr. Mukhtar Ramalan Yero felicitates with workers in the state as they marked this year’s Workers Day Celebration, assuring them of improved welfare and better conditions of service in the days ahead.
The Governor, in a statement signed by his Director-General Media and Publicity, Ahmed Maiyaki commended the workers for doing their best as ‘the engines of economic growth and development’.
He said “We rejoice with all workers on this important occasion of the Workers Day celebration and we appreciate your collective efforts in growing the economy of our dear state, through selfless hard work and determination to contribute your individual best in building a peaceful and prosperous state.”
Governor Yero also urged all workers in the state to put in more efforts, by imbibing the culture of discipline and genuine commitment to providing quality services to the people of Kaduna state.
He said “It is time for the Civil Service, as propellers that drive growth, to evolve a more dynamic approach to service-delivery, so as to support our collective efforts at improving the overall living conditions of our people.”
“We are mindful of the need for consistent improvement of welfare of our workers and our administration shall not relent in this direction”.
He called on workers in the state to continue to support the peace initiative of the present administration and further called on them to become peace advocates wherever they reside.
