YEDC reiterates commitment to steady electricity supply in north east

The Yola Electricity Distribution Company (YEDC) has re-iterated its commitment to steady electricity supply to North East sub-region.

The Chief Executive Officer of the company, Engr Luis Doble Jr made the commitment in Yola at the commissioning of Yola Forum of Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC).

Doble said to this end, customers were expected to pay their bills promptly including arrears.

Doble who said that the company since inception had provided technical and development training to improve its distribution network urged Federal Government for more power supply to the company to meet customer demand.

Also speaking, the chairman of Yola Electricity Forum, Mr Malik Daniel, said the forum would do it best in closing the communication gap between the electricity consumers and the distribution company.
