Yobe Deputy Gov. urges philanthropists to assist orphans

The Deputy Governor of Yobe state, Alhaji Idi Barde Gubana on Saturday, flagged off distribution of school fees and learning materials to the orphans, in Damagum, headquarter of Fune local government.
This was containd in statement signed by Hussaini Mai Suleh, the Press Secretary to Yobe Deputy Gov. Hon Idi Barde Gubana.

He appealed to wealthy people in the state to open more orphanages.
He explained that one of the surest way of getting the pleasure of Almighty Allah is showing kindness to the orphans and the under privileged among the community.
The beneficiaries are drawn from Ngelzarma, Garin Idi Barde, Damagum, Gubana, Daura, Gaba Tasha, and Dogon Kuka among others.
Hon. Gubana said, “It is therefore with humility and submission to the will of Allah as well as desire to enhance our service delivery to humanity that made me to establish the ‘Gorbo Orphanage Foundation’ about nine years ago.”
