Yobe NUJ charges journalists to be objective

The chairman of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Yobe state council, Comr. Rajab Mohammed Ismail, has charged journalists in the state to be objective in their reporting.
Comrade Rajab stated this on Saturday while touring some of the renovated class rooms, administration blocks, hostels, halls, laboratories among others at Government higher Islamic collage Nguru, Government Day Secondary School (GDSS) Gashu’a, Nigerian Turkish International College Mamudo, Ngelzarma and Government Science Technical Damagum among others in Yobe state.
He said there was a report going round on social media that Yobe had zero allocation for education sector, saying the report is false.
”We as media personnel, what is expected of us is to balance out stories, we should not always rely on hearsay that is the essence of organizing this media tour to go round and see things for ourselves.”
