A Group of Pan African Journalists and Broadcasters in Africa on Sunday conferred an award of African Humanitarian Leadership” on the Otunba of Yoruba community in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Chief Dr. Wasiu Tunwase.
Pan African Journalists and Broadcasters who spoke separately during the conferment of award in Abuja, said the award was bestowed on the Otunba of Yoruba Community in the FCT based on his contributions to humanity and society at large.
The Group said: “Pan African Journalists and Broadcasters in Africa was set up in order to promote peace, unity and African Development as well as recognize and honour Pan African Gold Achievers/Icons in Africa and Diaspora.
The Group also pointed out that the organization had awarded so many leaders in Nigeria and Africa at large.
Responding, the awardee of the day, Chief Dr. Wasiu Tunwase, thanked the organisers for the honour done to him.
Tunwase said he would continue to render humanitarian services to the people in the society and expressed gratitude to the people who attended the occasion.
