Youth group backs Gov Bello’s 2023 presidential ambition

A youth group, National Youth Mandate Group (NYMG) has vowed to continue with its support for the presidential ambition of Alhaji Yahaya Bello, Governor of Kogi state.

The Convener/National Coordinator of the group, Comrade Abba Abba (CNA), in Abuja argued that for the country to make progress and take its rightful position in the comity of nations, Presidential ticket of the All Progressive Congress (APC) must be given to a young and vibrant candidate.

He said the youths must be given a chance to partake in a fair contest in the struggle for the ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The statement reads in part “Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello has demonstrated capacity in all ramifications, especially on security, infrastructure and Human Capital Development.

“He is self aware and prioritize development of his state; he is focus on set goals, encourages strategic thinking in delivery of dividends of democracy. GYB a Civic Minded Leader who understands Youth Empowerments and Grassroots development.”

To get the best, he said the contest must be open to all members of the party, adding that Governor Bello remained the candidate to beat among all that had showed interest in the coveted seat.

He said “Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello remains the best for the party flag bearer, because of his acceptance by the youth of Nigeria.”

He said it was the hope of every patriotic Nigerian and the party faithful that a youth takes over the leadership of the country.

“In 2019, President Muhammadu Buhari said he will handover to a younger person in 2023, when he was signing the Not Too Young to Run Bill into Law, hence we the Youth of Nigeria are agitating for Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello to bring his wealth of experience in handlibg of security and good governance to bear, in leading Nigeria to the promised land, where investors will not be afraid of investing their money.

“Let me make it clear again, on Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello mandate as President in 2023 we stand, for he is tested and can be trusted with more for higher responsibilities”, he said.
