The youth group who made their feelings known to Peoples Daily in an interview in Angwan Ayaba of Panda Development Area of Karu LGC at the weekend, noted that despite the huge revenue generated by the authorities of Karu LGC on a daily basis, there is no single project executed in their area as promised by the chairman.
Spokes person of the grou,p Napoleon Jatau who decried that Angwan Ayaba, Tuduwada Mada, Jangali, Jemage, Rafin Seiyi, Dutse Gogo rural road has remained in a deplorable condition, with no single attention given to it by the council chairman, as he promised them during his campaign tour.
“We are discouraged with the attitude of the Karu LGC Chairman. Imagined the huge revenue generated in the council. We have not even benefited even a single well or road project in our locality.
“We have no health facilities. No single project in our area. The chairman is not accessible even on visitation to the secretariat”, Napoleon decried.
He added that the rural road from Angwan Ayaba to the villages surrounding it is in a deplorable condition where farmers from the communities cannot longer transport their farm produce to the market especially this rainy season, adding that what the rural communities needed is accessible healthcare and feeder road calling on the Authority of Karu LGC to provide the needed necessities to the grass-roots.
“We supported and voted for him during his campaign in the past two years. But today he has turned away from us absolutely.
