Governor Isa Yuguda of Bauchi State has enjoined citizens to be extra-vigilant and give necessary support and cooperation towards bringing to an end the security challenges bedeviling the state and the country at large.
The Governor recalled that though Bauchi is the most peaceful state in the Northeast geo-political zone, had during the last one year witnessed disturbing incidents of kidnapping, murder, and bomb blasts.
Yuguda, in a New Year message, assured citizens of the state that government in conjunction with security agencies is doing everything possible to bring to an end the present security challenges ravaging them.
He, therefore, called on each and every citizen to make his/her New Year resolution towards peaceful co-existence among brothers and sisters, irrespective of religious, cultural and political differences.
“We should also continue to fervently pray for the security challenges to come to an end and for peace to reign throughout the country”, Yuguda directed.
