The Allied Conservative Congress (ACC) has extended warm greetings to Christians nationwide as they celebrate this year’s Christmas, commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ.

In a statement issued on Monday, Rev. Olusegun Peters, the national chairman of the ACC, described the day as “remarkable” for Christendom, urging believers to reflect on the life and teachings of Jesus Christ.

“It is a remarkable day in Christendom and calls for sober reflection on the life and teachings of Jesus Christ,” the statement read.

Rev. Peters called on Christians to rededicate themselves to serving God and humanity, emphasizing the importance of prayer for divine mercy and the restoration of Nigeria.

Highlighting the current challenges facing the nation, the ACC stressed the need for patriotism and unity.

“We enjoin Nigerians to set aside their differences and join hands with the ACC in building a better, stronger, and prosperous democratic nation that future generations will be proud of,” the statement said.

The party reiterated its commitment to alleviating the suffering of Nigerians by delivering the dividends of democracy, promising economic rejuvenation and sustainable development.

Rev. Peters cited Section 14(2)(b) of the 1999 Constitution, emphasizing that the security and welfare of the people remain the government’s primary responsibility.

Advocating for the adoption of conservative values, the ACC lauded Nigerians who have embraced its ideology.

“The conservative ideology of integrity, morality, and patriotism is the solution to the multifaceted political, economic, and social challenges our citizens face,” the statement said, adding that these values stand against corruption, violence, and bad governance.

The party also pledged to restore Nigeria’s economy and social values if voted into power in the 2027 elections.

“As more Nigerians embrace the ACC conservative ideology, Nigeria will regain its lost glory,” Rev. Peters assured, calling on citizens to unite in making the country great again.
