Yuletide: FRSC deploys 1,500 personnel, 21 patrol vehicles on Kano highways

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Kano State Sector Command has revealed that it has deployed about 1,500 personnel to ensure effective traffic management and enforcement within the yuletide period.
The Sector Commander, FRSC Kano State Command, Zubairu Mato in a statement issued yesterday, said the personnel comprises of Regular and Special Marshals.
He also stated that the Command had deployed 21 patrol vehicles, including two ambulances, a heavy duty tow truck to clear obstructions on the highways in the state with target of zero fatality within the festive period.
The objectives of the Operation, according to Mato, are to ensure free flow of traffic along Kano-Zaria highway and Kano -Wudil – Takai roads due to heavy traffic density along the routes.
