Yuletide: FRSC warns against speeding, overloading

The Zonal Commanding Officer of RS 10 HQ Sokoto, Assistant Corps Marshal Kayode Olagunju has advised people against using expired tyres, speeding and overloading during the yuletide.
He gave this advise yesterday at the lunching of 2019, Ember months Road Safety Campaign held at the Center Garage Birnin Kebbi.
He said that there is need for the drivers to go for eye tests regularly.
He urged the stakeholders in the state to join hands together in order to reduce the crashes while the Crashes kill more passengers than drivers.
In his remark, the State sector Commander of Federal road safety Corps, Mr. EA Asaniyan said that for this year coming end of the year festivities drivers should avoid use of drugs and they should not also drive when they are tired.
He also said that the uses of seatbelt and obey of all traffic laws is very important and also they should avoid overloading among the others.
He thanked the Kebbi State Government for always being there for them in terms of advocacy and other needs.
