Zamfara agency dismisses allegations on financial misconduct

The Executive Secretary of Zamfara State Contributory Health Management Agency (ZAMCHEMA) Dr. Yusuf Abubakar has accused the immediate past Executive Secretary of the Agency, Bashir Mafara of sponsoring oppositions to destablize the steady take off of the agency.
Dr. Yusuf who raised the allegations in a press conference in Gusau on Wednesday, said the former head of the agency has openly demonstrated his dislike against the ongoing transformation of the health sector in the state.
He described the petition written by Zamfara Circle as baseless and politically sponsored aimed at mischievously portraying the good efforts of the government by the former labor leader in bad faith.
He alleged that, one Murtala Musa Shinkafi alongside few others, have been used by the former labor leader in con fake information and share it to the public for mischievous reasons.
He alleged further that ethically, it is against the ethics of the Civil Service Rules for an officer who had elevated through the rank of a Director and a former State Labor Leader to engaged unpatriotic staffers of the agency to accessing official documents for mischievous purposes.
He said most of the challenges the former labor leader failed to address as pioneer executive Secretary of the agency had been addressed by him from January to date, a circumstance which he said has informed the decision of Comrade Mafara to resort to connived with mischief makers to attack his personality and that of the State Government he is serving.
He challenged Zamfara Circle to come forward to access the facts of what transpired if they are interested in issues related to the activities of the agency and desist from using one sided information capable of misleading the public.
