A Chieftain and a 2019 gubernatorial candidate of the opposition All Progressive Congress (APC) Zamfara State chapter under former Governor Yari-led faction, Dr. Dauda Lawal Dare, has sponsored 120 Zamfara indegenous students to study various courses in the republic of Togo.
Chairman of the faction, Hon. Lawal M. Liman Gabɗon Ƙaura, made the declaration while presenting admission letters to 120 beneficiaries students to study various Educational disciplines in Iheris University, Lome, Republic of Togo, charged them to be good ambassadors while away for studies.
“You are not expected to be captured in a bad record ranging from exam malpractice and or taking part in any movement by cultists throughout your stay in the hosting university, but should involve yourselves in a manner that Zamfara and Nigeria will be proud upon.
“Just get focused on your studies, never engage in any activity outside the university, be peace-loving and abide by the laws of the hosting country, as philanthropist, Dr. Dauda Lawan Dare who sponsored your studies has paid for everything you will need over there”, M. Liman has warned.
M. Liman who made the declaration as he flagged off the presentation ceremony today (Sunday) at the Command Guest Inn, Gusau the state capital, has stood in for the leader of the Abdulaziz Yari faction, saying it was under the manifesto that the nexus which gave his 8 year rule the focus to perform wonderfully was planted in 2009.
