From Ibrahim Sidi Muh’d, Gusau
A ghastly motor accident has claimed 10 family members involving biological children, grandchildren, sister and sister-in-law of the Zamfara state member House of assembly, Hon. Sa’idu Danbala Yarkofoji, representing Bakura constituency yesterday.
The accident which has reportedly occurred along Gusau – Sokoto road has claimed 3 of biological sons of the member, 4 grandchildren, his younger sister, sister-in-law and a driver while his wife and a baby boy survived and are currently receiving medical treatments at FMC Gusau.
All the dead family members were buried according to Islamic rites at Yarkofoji hometown of the member state house of assembly.
Among the attendants for the burial of the deceased were the state Governor, Alhaji Abdul’azeez Yari Abubakar, his Deputy Malam Ibrahim Wakkala, State Commissioners, members of the state house of assembly, politicians among others.
