The Zamfara state government has announced preparations ro work closely with security personnel in its effort to restore the lost glory in education sector.
The newly appointed Commissioner of education, science and technology, Malam Wadatau Madawaki stated this yesterday.
Madawaki, lamented that the present administration found the state of education in comatose.
Speaking in an interview in Gusau, Wadatau further revealed that education is in disarrayed, maintaining that education has collapsed and is in dire need of total overhaul.
“The present administration of Governor Dauda Lawal has made formidable arrangements aimed at ensuring hitch-free teaching and learning by establishing a strong working relationship with the security agencies across the state.
“We have put in place a well planned strategy that will enable us to start from the basic to build a strong educational foundation for the people in the state from primary, secondary to tertiary.”
