Ahead of the July 22 and 23 Ondo State governorship primary of the PDP, the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party has approved the nomination of the Governor of Zamfara state, Hon.
Bello Mutawallen Maradaun and four others to serve on the Ward Congresses Electoral Committee.
The committee is mandated to elect three Ad-Hoc Ward Delegates in the 203 Wards of Ondo State, for the upcoming 2020 Governoship Election in the State.
Other members of the committee are; Hon. Mrs. Cynthia Abeje Egwa, Chief David Kolawole Vaughan, and Chief Ginger Obinna Onwusibe with Hon. Kingsley Chinda as Secretary.
A statement by the National Organising Secretary, NOC, of the PDP, Col. Austin Akobundu, rtd, said that the exercise is scheduled for today, Wednesday July 08, 2020 across the State.
The statement reads in party, “The National Working Committee (NWC) of our great party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has approved the nomination of the following party members to serve on the ward congresses electoralcommittee.
“The committee is mandated to elect 3 Ad-Hoc Ward Delegates in the 203 Wards of Ondo State, for the upcoming 2020 Governoship Election in the State.
“The exercise is scheduled for Wednesday July 08, 2020 across the State”, it said.
