Three serving Director-Generals in the administration of Governor AbdulAzeez Yari Abubakar of Zamfara have resigned their positions.

The DGs also announced their intention to join the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), saying they have never been engaged by Governor Yari on any of the responsibilities conferred on their offices as enacted by law.
