The Federal University of Education, Zaria, will host the 3rd National Education, Trade, Innovation, and Investment Summit, NETIIS 2026, a major national event organized by the Zazzau Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture, ZAZCCIMA.
The summit has received approval from the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture, NACCIMA, as one of its national events. It is scheduled to run from Friday, October 30th, to Sunday, November 8th, 2026.
The confirmation came during a courtesy visit to the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Yahaya Isa Bunkure, Makaman Rano, by a ZAZCCIMA delegation led by Mal. Yahaya Garba, Garkuwan Madakin Zazzau. The Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sulaiman Balarabe, and other members of the university management team joined Prof. Bunkure.
This year’s edition is themed _“Empowering Nigeria’s Economic Resurgence: Leveraging Renewed Hope Policies to Catalyze Transformation in Education, Trade, Innovation, and Investment in Nigeria.”_
The theme reflects the summit’s focus on aligning Nigeria’s education sector, trade systems, innovation drive, and investment climate with the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope agenda to accelerate inclusive growth and national development.
Stakeholders say the 10-day summit will bring together policymakers, academics, industry leaders, investors, and innovators to explore strategies to strengthen the linkages between education and economic transformation across the country.
