Support Group of Tajudeen Abbas Speakership has said that their candidate has all qualities to become the 10th assembly speaker and should be given the mandate for a better legislation in the country.
The group Secretary, Ahmed Adamu made this known during an interview with newsmen after paying homage to the elder statesman former military President Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida to seek for his fatherly blessings at his uphill Manson in Minna, urging Nigerians to key in to the All Progressives Congress (APC) anointed candidate.
Hon. Adamu emphasized that among the speakership aspirants only Tajudeen Abbas who sponsored over 70 bills out of which 20 bills were assented to by the immediate past president Muhammadu Buhari.
He reiterated that if given the mandate, he will turn the 10th assembly in to a formidable team for members across the country, hence to meet up with the high expectations of Nigerians especially with president Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Kashim Shettima piloting affairs of the country.
Adamu was optimistic that Abbas will ensure cordial and better understanding and working relationship between the executive and legislative arms of government for better development while avoiding the repeat of what happened during the 8th assembly in Nigeria.
He maintained that Honourable Tajudeen Abbas has all the required prerequisites and experience to lead the lower chamber of the national assembly, noting that he has the good character, integrity, passion, trustworthiness, team spirit and a Nigerian per excellence that deserved to be given the mandate.
