The 2025 edition of the annual National Agricultural Show is the 17th in the series. Organized by the National Agricultural Foundation of Nigeria (NAFN), the Show has over the years evolved to become the largest gathering of Nigeria farmers and policy makers in the Agricultural sector.
The Show is characterized by Exhibition of Agricultural and allied produces, inputs and researches. It also hosts a Seminar for the Women and Youth in Agriculture where Papers are presented and discussions held by experts and other stakeholders to chart a greater path for the farmers .
This year’s theme: “Empowering Smallholders Farmers: Restoring Value, Ensuring productivity to ensure the attainment of Food Security in Nigeria,”was carefully chosen to underscore the importance of Smallholder farmers who feed the nation but are often overlooked during policy formulation. The theme is also meant to bring to the fore the challenges faced by these farmers to keep the will of food production for this country rolling.
