The Round of 64 matches in this year’s Federation Cup competition will start across the country today, with huge battles looming especially among the Premier League clubsides.

Eighteen matches have been slated for Wednesday, from the fixtures list of 32, with the rest 14 scheduled tomorrow.

ABS of Ilorin will clash with elite division new boys Giwa FC in Minna, while Heartland FC will keep a date with Ebonyi United in Umuahia.

The clash between Wikki Tourists and El-Kanemi Warriors in Gombe is top of the bill for the matches slated tomorrow.

On Wednesday, Kwara United FC and Sharks of Port Harcourt will clash in Benin City, in a clash that will revive memories of past days.

Dynamite FC of Benin City and Ranchers Bees of Kaduna will meet in Lokoja, while Akwa United must overcome FC Abuja in Enugu.

Kano Pillars go up against Gateway FC in Lokoja tomorrow, while Gombe United and Baton FC of Imo will face off in Ilorin.

Enyimba FC will take on Sokoto North FC in Abuja on Wednesday.

There are only two matches in the women’s section of the Federation Cup, with Rising Queens of Ondo tackling Ebonyi Babes in Warri today.

Tin City FC of Jos will clash with Tokas Queens in Lokoja on Friday.
