2015: Group drums support for Atiku

A  Group under the auspices of the Northern Youth Voters Forum (NYVF) has said Former Vice President Abubakar Atiku has   the wherewithal to chase the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) out of government and return sanity to the country by 2015.

National Coordinator of the group, Comrade Idris Ibrahim stated this while addressing   newsmen in Kaduna yesterday.

 The Forum specially appealed to former Head of State and leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC), General Muhammadu Bahari, to drop his Presidential ambition, and support the Atiku Abubarkar in the interest of the North.

 “We noted with respect that General Buhari has contested the Presidency three consecutive times and was not successful, and on that ground, we averred that it was not wise for another opportunity to be afforded him for fear that it may turn out becoming the same result like the previous ones,” the group stated.

“Leg  us not deceive ourselves, it is only Atiku that has the political ability to chase out PDP government, and after consultations held across the states of the northern region, the group has agreed to endorse Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as our Presidential aspirant in the forthcoming 2015 general election.

“We are using this opportunity to urge all the aspirants to give their total support and acknowledge the movement of making Atiku Turakin Adamawa the President of Nigeria 2015.

“We are using the opportunity to appeal and request the pleasure of our humble leader with honesty and sincerity, General Muhammadu Buhari, to kindly join Turaki’s movement in making Nigeria one of the best. We  need your support, we need your cooperation and we need your

contribution to save the Nigerian from security and economic challenges,” the group pleaded.

The Forum also described the ruling PDP government as corrupt, incompetent and clueless, saying it requires somebody in the person of  Atiku who understands the government to salvage it.

“Our Presidential aspirant knows the PDP’s maneuvers above any other Presidential aspirant, and knowing your enemy is the key success to knock him down. Turaki will knock down PDP in 2015,” it assured.
