A pressure group, Vanguard for Progressive Change (VPC), has urged Kano state Governor, Rabiu Musa Kwankwanso to run for 2015 presidential election, clarifying that time was of essence.
The towering achievements of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governor made him the most qualified among other contenders for the plump job, according to a statement by Osikela Omo-Ikirodah, Coordinator of the group, Edo State Chapter.
The statement said only a tested, accountable and visionary leaders are capable of transforming the nation.
“We stand in unison with fellow Nigerians all over the country that yearn for a vibrant, dynamic and visionary leadership, to take us out of the wood.
“We hereby call on His Excellency, Engr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwanso to join the Presidential race, we are dully ready, committed and determined to mobilize Nigerians across the geopolitical zones for this noble cause’’, it said.
