The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has congratulated President Goodluck Jonathan for exhibiting an uncommon courage to declare for his second term bid for the Presidency just as it declared that Jonathan remains the only bridge to national unity.

Reacting to the President’s declaration for second term in office, the National Chairman of APGA, Chief Victor Umeh stated that with the President’s declaration that he would implement the recommendations of the National Conference, he has demonstrated that he is a nation builder who is determined to move Nigeria forward even at the risk of his own life.

“APGA congratulates President Good luck Ebele Jonathan for accepting the numerous calls on him from various groups, including APGA to declare and run for President for a second term in the 2015 general elections.

“APGA is very happy that he has officially declared his intention to run in 2015. I listened to his declaration speech and my belief in him got more re-enforced that he is well focused on what to be done to put Nigeria on a good footing apart from his promises on Security, job creation and improved infrastructural development, Jonathan represents today the only bridge to national unity”, Umeh said.
