Former Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly and gubernatorial aspirant for 2015, Victor Ochei, has urged delegates to the crucial party primary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to be well guided in the choice of the party’s flag bearer in the governorship election in the state.
Ochei, a fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, said the larger long term interest of the party could be captured in three broad sub-themes-cost-efficient service deliveries, active peace – promotion and multi-dimensional inclusiveness.
All of these, he added, needed to be prime virtues of the party’s flag bearer, who should, in respect of the party, be one capable of promoting its cohesion and potency.
The former Speaker, who spoke in a recent interview after submitting his expression of interest and nomination forms to the national secretariat of the PDP, stressed that if given the party ticket, he would deliver services to peoples of Delta state.
